Hot Gas Generators are in common use to dry raw bulk materials as limestone, coal and other solid fuels. The horizontally arranged combustion chamber is designed to use any kind of fuel oil, natural gas, or liquid waste oil and off-gas. The inner shell is protected by refractories, the mixing air is controlling the outer shell temperature.
The thermal load and hot gas temperature can be precisely controlled by the burner and by the mixing air volume for the required hot gas volume and gas temperature.
